Solar Power Water Fountain

It was a middle spring sunny day, and I was outside mowing the grass, when I looked over there across the road at my neighbors pond.  There is a water fountain spraying water into the air and it is positioned in the middle of the pond.

I thought to myself, “What a peaceful beautiful sight that is to look at”.  It is a very nice landscaped design that compliments  his property, water spraying into the air, grass is mowed down and manicured around the pond, as the rest of his lawn is too!  On one side of the their is a comfortable bench for relaxing, good place for taking a break, and some Brown Eyed Susy flowers planted behind and around the bench. Wonderful place to relax and collect your thoughts.

I wondered what does it cost to run that water fountain, and he has to plug in the power cord in the morning and unplug the power cord in the evening to turn it ON & OFF just so his family and other people can enjoy the beauty of it all.

One day I caught my neighbor outside mowing his grass, I went over to ask him, “Hows everything going”.  I commented on how beautiful his landscape, looked and especially his pond with the water fountain spraying water up into the air.   It just looked GREAT!

I asked “What does it cost to run your fountain day after day in a months time” he was polite enough to tell me that “Oh it cost me $10.00 to $15.00 a month for the size of my pump, it’s a 5 watt pump”,  I said thanks for telling me and to have a nice day.  As I drive around the county I started noticing a lot more ponds with water fountains in the middle spraying water into the air.

If people only knew that if they would purchase and use a Solar Power Water Fountain, then that is a one time cost, NO plugging and unplugging  to operate it, Solar Power Water Fountains only runs when the sun rays hit upon the panel.

So Guess What-   NO additional cost on your electric bill, with the very same purpose in mind, “Beauty”!Solar Power Water Fountain for Pond

Solar Power TO GO!

My son Trevor and I decided to go hiking, And we needed to put together a check lists of items we should take with us on our trip.

The list started something like this:

* Clothing items—

* Hiking Boots

* Wool Socks

* Long Underwear

* Brier tough trouser

*Equipment—

* 2 favorite hiking staffs

* 2 Backpacks

* 4 flashlights, extra batteries

* 4 MRE’s meals, trail mix

* small first aid kit

* Compass

* waterproof matches

* pocket saw, hatchet

That’s a good start, Trevor and I were going over the list of  items, We were siting in the garage thinking about what other items we needed or something else we should take, after a few minutes Trevor say’s,  Dad we have to take our cell phones in case we have any trouble on the trail.  Yes I replied, we sure do.  And Dad, I hope you don’t mind if I bring my ipod to just to use if I get bored.  I said that was OK, Because I knew he didn’t want to hear me talking all the time as we walked.  I knew we would be gone for about 3 days for a good hike,  I thought about that for a minute and said,

“What are we going to do if our cell phone batteries go dead on us, or your ipod battery, that could be trouble couldn’t it”

Next Trevor said, Dad, just the other day I was on the internet looking at hiking supplies and I just happen to come across a Solar PowerSolar Back Pack Back Pack that charges hand held electronics,

“Really”   I said    “Yeah”   Trevor said,  and it wasn’t that expensive either.   I looked at Trevor and said, let’s go get online a find us one of  those back packs, Trevor said that sounds like a good ideal,    LET’S GO

Solar Powered Attic Fans

solar powered ventHave you ever had to go up into the attic on a Hot summer day and the temperature is around 90 to 95 degrees outside that day.  Well I have had to,  I had to go up into the attic on a Hot summer day to get something out of a box I had stored up there or I have had to go up there and place more boxes of stuff we had to store, you know try to stay organized.

Well let me tell you, when you have to go up in the attic on a day like that, I think you will agree with me it’s so Hot up here it will take your breath away.  If you was to place a thermometer in the attic to read the temperature it would read between 120 to 140 degrees, that temperature is unbearable for any amount of time, you can’t stand it for very long.

Don’t you think there’s got to be a way to remove this heat in the attic, and to think how this kind of heat is pressing down on your living space inside of the house.  Now wonder why your air conditioning unit is running all the time fighting against the temperature outside, let alone the temperature in the attic.

There is a solution:

You could install or have installed Solar Powered Attic Fans to pull the Hot temperature out of the attic.  It works like an exhaust fan, and runs by a Solar Cell to power the motor for the fan that pulls the heat out of the attic, and has a temperature switch that turns the fan on & off, and you don’t have to hook the unit up to a electrical outlet ether.  Your one time price could just possible save you quiet a bit of money from your electric bill.

Now that makes sense to me,  How about you!

Whats the temperature outside!

You know how everybody loves to know what the temperature is outside, especially when you are running out the door going to work or any other place and usually in a hurry to get going.

And Would it  be nice to have a thermometer showing you the outside temperature by the door so you can see as your getting ready to leave.

That would help you quickly decide whether to grab a sweater, jacket or coat.

And what would be better than to have a nice accurate digital thermometer that runs on batteries and is charged by a Solar Cellsolar powered thermometers.

That way you can place it anywhere you like without having to be close to a electrical outlet, you just need a little sun light to shine on the cell.

Buy the thermometer once and, you don’t pay for any extra electricity. It would also make a good gift that is very useful.

NICE!
